Day 1 Travel to Pembroke for afternoon sailing to Rosslare and on to Dungaran for our 3 night accommodation at the Lawlors Hotel.
Day 2 After lunch we enjoy a scenic drive along the Copper Coast, named after the long abandoned mines which once made the region so prosperous. Travelling through the picturesque village of Stradbally and Bunmahon and on to the popular seaside resort of Tramore with its impressive sandy beach stretching for three miles. We continue our journey to Waterford, a city with strong Viking Heritage and visit the world famous Crystal Factory. Day 3 Travel to Cobh, established as a tiny fishing village, was the last port of call for the “Titanic” on her fateful maiden voyage in 1912. Her story together with millions of Irish emigrants is depicted at the “Queenstown Story”, housed in the restored Victorian Railway station. Day 4 Travelling from Dungarvan, to Lismore, a beautiful town set on the banks of the River Blackwater is inextricably linked with Christianity. We travel the Vee Gap, a scenic route that winds its way through the Knockmealdown Mountains, lined with rhododendrons and woodland. At the summit we enjoy the view of the Galtee mountains before descending to Cahir. We continue our journey via Limerick to Ennistymon for the next 2 nights accommodation at the Falls Hotel. Day 5 From the sheer drop of the Cliffs of Moher into the Atlantic to the stark moonscape of the Burren, northern county Claire is a must for today’s excursion. Complete our journey back to Ennistymon for our final nights stay.
Day 6 After breakfast, we travel via Limerick to Cashel, then on to Rosslaire via Tipperary and Waterford.
Day 7 Following an early breakfast, we travel the short distance to Rosslaire for an early morning sailing to Pembroke and home.
